I have spent my life enjoying the view of skin care from many angles – first as a teenage acne patient and desperate retail consumer looking for solutions, then as an American living in Europe where skin care is considered part of one’s well-being rather than a luxury. That experience inspired me to become a Licensed Aesthetician when I returned to the US, working for several years in the office of a very talented plastic surgeon and then moving on to sell clinical skin care products to Plastic Surgeons and Dermatologists. I’ve been the patient, the retail consumer, the skin care professional and the skin care science expert.
The one recurring theme through all of those experiences is the desire to find the ONE, the product that works, that truly makes a difference and to know why it works so that I can share that with my clients. I have learned that while there is a wealth of very nice, well made products for our use we all respond to products differently. Therefore, the best way to know what works for you is to try it for yourself based on the science and the feedback of others who have tried it as well.
