Hi , My name is Lee & I've lots to tell you about myself. I have a background as a counsellor, lecturer & show stopping cake maker ,but this is not what i do now! I am a recipe developer, blogger, and photographer for independent food & drink producers under the name Lee & The Sweet Life. With a Twitter account or almost 15,000 followers ( @CakesandMore), instagram & FB page with almost 2,000 followers, these are great platforms for show casing products. My recipes have appeared in top cooking magazines (on line and printed) as have my blogs and I'm often called on to write pieces for local and regional printed and and online publications. I have demonstrated cooking at many food festivals, have had slots of TV programmes with more in the pipeline, and have a YouTube channel just to have some fun :) I am the creator of Foodie Book Club, a national book club where top chefs (Michelin star, Masterchef winners, GBBO winners, Great British Menu chefs ) give recipes for our groups each month. The Foodie Book Club groups are international and growing. Foodie Book Club has appeared in top magazines and TV program's with lots more to come as it grows even bigger I've lived in Belgium and America for many years, all over the UK, now settled in County Durham UK. I bring this life experience to my writing experience and reviews. Even though my natural writing style is light, I'm often asked to adapt my writing style to suit the occasion or media its been used in .
