Brit On A Budget is packed with quick and easy tips for making and saving money, and it’s a great introduction to managing your finances and creating and sticking to a budget. I founded the site in March 2018 when I was 19 years old, and I was on an apprentice wage of £3.30 an hour. With a car to run and still wanting to enjoy my social life, I began researching ways to help my money go the extra mile. After finding what I’d learnt had worked for me, I decided to share my advice online, which became Brit On A Budget. In March 2020, aged 21, I purchased my own house. I documented my savings journey on my Instagram page, and my aim is now to show that anyone can get some money behind them if they are motivated enough.
