Hello. I'm Kirsty, a UK-based blogger covering topics including family, health and sustainability. With 20 years experience working as a freelance writer, designer and creative consultant, previous clients include BBC Worldwide, Disney, Penguin Books, Harper Collins, National Theatre, Channel 4, Egmont, Hachette and Mollie Makes. I've written for a variety of magazines and had multiple books published, both fiction and non-fiction titles, for adults and children. I started my first blog in 2008, when the blogging world was very different. Several years later, I stepped away to help my partner launch his own business, building him a website from scratch, and sneakily making up for lack of coding experience with a few good bits of writing and design. As a travel-based business, the pandemic has been difficult for us, and in 2021, I decided to return to blogging. I was suprised to discover how much I'd missed it, and have really enjoyed finding new readers, along with a community of bloggers and collaborators. Away from work, I enjoy reading, theatre, art and science. I live in London with my musician partner and our black cat, Albert.
