My name is Kiante Williams and I am a fourth-year Environmental Chemistry student at University of Toronto. I am Canadian, with a Caribbean background (Jamaica & Trinidad + Tobago) which I have always believed to be best of both worlds. While pursuing my degree, I have also been pursuing my lifelong passion of Cosmetology. From the time I was a little girl, I was always interested in making potions and lotions. For the last year I have been focussing on building my own brand with the hopes of combining my passion for Chemistry and Cosmetology into my very own hair/skin care line one day. I have always been fascinated with art and creativity and I find joy expressing it. I always loved doing intricate hairstyles and constructing and jewellery. I belonged to an Afro-Caribbean Dance Performing company for over 10 years which allowed me to not only build my confidence performing, it allowed me to practice stage makeup utilizing bold, vibrant colours. I no longer dance with the performing company, but my passion has never stopped - which has lead me to display my creativity through my Instagram business page (@_kmwbeauty) where I continue to build my brand and build my client-base while also elevating my photography skills.
