I am a 38 year old, London based Maths teacher, a husband , a doting father of 5, a longstanding Arsenal fan, an avid gym goer and fitness fanatic and last but not least a passionate charity worker in my free time. I launched my Maths Coach YouTube channel in the midst of the pandemic back in March 2020 to help with free teaching/support and guidance to A Level and GCSE students - to ease the burden on parents feeling compelled to pay excessive money on tuition so their children didn't fall behind. My drive and passion lies in my role as an educator and I thrive on seeing that sudden 'click' in a young person's mind when they finally understand something. As an educator I feel its important to always be suitably attired and pride myself in my appearance and looks. Appearance, as one of the ready resources is very much a tool for success and I believe clothing is responsible for 90% of that first impression. Therefore I always make certain that I am correctly suited/attired to ensure I look the part. Working in my field and juggling all I do, early mornings can often be difficult and a slow start but I am a self confessed coffee addict and can't start my day without my caffeine fix! It sets me up for the day and gives me that much needed buzz and adrenaline boost to tackle whatever may come my way! At home I enjoy my time with my children and love testing out and exploring new toys and technologies. Outside from my teaching, I am an ardent gym goer and train at least 3-4 times a week. Given the current times we are in where many are often left feeling low, I strongly believe exercise is probably the most under-utilised anti-depressant there is and therefore am always encouraging and motivating others to get active as they can because now more than ever, we need to nurture and look after our mind and body. In my free time for recreation I enjoy dabbling in singing and watching and catching up with new films. I indulge in a variety of genres but probably most enjoy comedy and action thrillers. Lastly being a loyal, effusive, fan and longstanding Gooner since childhood I would say I live and breathe for my team! Football as well as gym has been a major influence in my life. It brings a sense of excitement when my team play and I thrive off the momentum. Life will usually come to a halt when my team are playing as they deserve my utmost attention! I look forward to working with you and together help each other grow!
