Josue Sinvil aka Sentry Sinvil is your friendly neighborhood crooner turned rapper. Probably cracking open a six-pack of craft beer right now. Born on the Upper West Side of Manhattan to young hip-hop heads. His middle name" “Imani” was inspired by the rap group “The Pharcyde” It's not a stretch to say he was literally bred for this. Growing up surrounded by the Likes of Nas, A Tribe Called Quest, and Ghostface but trying to diversify his sound in ways more similar to Smino and Kendrick Lamar his voice is a clear tell of where he’s from, it's inescapable. Sentry also started up a long-format podcast to interview local creatives on all things. He’s a chopped cheese eating, James Dolan Pleading thoroughbred New Yorker.
