Joseph Kokumu popularly known as DJ Lifa is an award-winning DJ, songwriter and music producer based in Kenya. He is the founder of Lifa Records.
Joseph began as a DJ in 2011, working with the Royal Native Deejayz, a Gospel Ministry/ Entertainment Unit from Kenyan Capital Nairobi using the Gift/ art of deejaying to minister God's word.
His first notable platform was on Vision TV Kenya, where he served as a DJ on the Vmixx Show. Today he is the DJ for the Youth Patrol Show on Biblia Husema Broadcasting, a Christian radio station broadcasting from Nairobi Kenya.
The DJ has shown great commitment in his work and has been nominated for various awards including DJ Of The Year, Kenya Gospel Music and Legends Awards 2016 and 2017, Emerging DJ of the Year on Extreme Awards 2016 among others.
Besides the DJ skill, Joseph holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics and Statistics from Egerton University.
