Jonathan "JonDavid" Parris is a multi-talented individual - one who has garnered success in the various disciplines of journalism, public presentations, directing, and producing. JonDavid also compliments the foregoing with transcending accomplishments in the creative and performing arts (acting, singing, and writing).
JonDavid was most notably the lead vocalist of The Unusual Suspects (TUS) - an Alternative Hip Hop/R&B duo signed to TORR Music, MASKARAID Productions, and distributed by Island Def Jam. JonDavid's voice has been featured in a number of commercials, documentaries, films, radio, and television programs. Additionally, as an actor, he has starred in several commercials, plays, and short films.
A journalism major, JonDavid spent several years honing his writing and interviewing skills as Editor-In-Chief for Street Level and Urban City Network magazines. During his tenure, JonDavid personally managed a plethora of A-List interviews within the music and movie genres - quickly evolving to a herald favorite with celebrities and their publicists. JonDavid’s vast endeavors have afforded him the acumen necessary to identify with and accommodate a diverse spectrum of personalities. Furthermore, he exhibits each interview with integrity and consideration, always advancing the interest of the celebrity, effectively enabling them a favorable interviewing experience.
Since September 2017, JonDavid has been the frontman in the legendary party band, Soul Express, teaming up with guitarist, trombonist, vocalist, and co-founder of the band, Joo Lomenzo. He is currently recording an album, set to release in summer 2019, while also preparing for his ensuing, nationwide tour.
