My Family and Friends
I am mother to 4 amazing kids, who through the miracle of adoption, have blessed my life in ways too numerous to list. Saturday’s are spent with my grand baby who reminds me constantly what an open heart should look like. My amazing extended family and friends are always ready to fill each other’s needs, and work on various projects together. And I am a part of possibly the best little church in the mountains, filled with hugs, laughs, tears, and encouragement. I am so very fortunate.
Why Give?
I believe in living with positive intention to make a difference in the lives of others. Not only does this make the world around me a better place to live, but touches the lives of those I will never meet. In addition, it changes me, the giver. It is very rare to be able to give of your Time, Talents, and Money, and not have a positive psychological effect on your own life and thoughts.
Finally, after years of research and giving, I want to take the stress out of giving for you! Join me as I share giving tips, suggestions, and a spotlight on best practices. I will share glimpses into the real life experiences of those who go above and beyond to make the world a better place. We will also follow those who are giving the smallest amounts, but still making a difference, together.
