Nest Box Live is a digital content business with a combined social media following of over three-quarters of a million people worldwide. Content is live streamed on our channels from a dedicated network of smart nest box cameras using a new technology developed by its founder.
Since launching in 2020, the business has grown with an increasing social following year on year. The founding aims of the project have been to showcase the otherwise secret world of birds nesting to increase awareness and engagement in nature. The content has attracted a wide range of audiences not confined to birds but ones interested in more expansive wildlife and the outdoors.
Our traditional following is people aged 45+, but we have an increasingly younger audience with the rollout of our TikTok page earlier this year. This new platform is helping to reach new audiences that may not otherwise have engaged with nature, helping to fulfil the founding aims of the project.
In 2023, we are expanding the network of nest box cameras to new places such as the USA, Japan and the Philippines.
