Isaac “SMOOTH” Barron
Isaac Jawan Barron, born and raised in Pine Bluff, Arkansas is a talented entertainer specializing in acting and comedy. Isaac is also a drummer, poet, author, and stand up comedian. He developed a passion for acting at a very young age. Starting off particitipating in school plays, Isaac excelled and as he grew older he attended drama classed and used multiple educational resources to learn more about his craft. He went on to being cast in small parts in local independent films written by individuals he has encountered on his journey of making his acting dream come true.
Isaac began creating original comedy video content for social media platforms such as Facebook and Instagram, which led to the creation of several fictional characters portrayed by him, who come to life through his content and hilarious dialogue. In 2016 Isaac co-produced, co-wrote, and starred in an original stage play titled “My Father’s House”, which featured two of his beloved characters “Rev. Racks” and “Big Mama” (Cuttin Gal). Also in 2016, Isaac starred in his own stand up special “Don’t Let Tha Smooth Taste Fool Ya” which led to him recording his first prank call album that same year with the same title. Currently, Isaac is engaged in a wide variety of entertainment. He is the co-host and co-producer of a social media food, taste, culture, and review show titled “Jet Eats”.
For Isaac, acting and entertainment is an element of happiness and healing. In front of the camera he comes alive. Making others laugh is his destiny as defined by his name.
