Hi, I am Harper Mae! I am on a mission to spread joy, awareness and warm the hearts of those around me. I would like to think what makes me interesting, is my incredible ability to light up the room and bring tears of joy to people. See, I was born with some pretty neat super powers that we will call Spina Bifida, hydrocephalus and Chiari Malformation. Me and my amazing mom underwent fetoscopic surgery at 25 weeks in gestation. Yes, I was born twice! Can you believe it? It’s been an amazing journey so far and I believe my story is one that should be shared. For the past couple years I have been using Disney World as my physical therapy on the weekends. The cast members, attractions and park guests collectively motivate me to practice walking and keeping myself fit. Both my mom and dad have added to my motivation by making my dresses and walker-costume-props. I have an Instagram, FaceBook and YouTube that I use to inspire all my friends with my infectious spirit and enthusiasm for life one step and one smile at a time. I am seeking opportunities to use my magic in ways that will inspire others first and foremost. Secondly, while my medical insurance in the past has helped, it does not cover all the cost unfortunately. My parents are setting up a fund for me to not only cover these cost but to also provide myself with an opportunity for passive income as I get older.
