Hanala Sagal is a screenwriter, co-executive producer of "Elvis & Nixon" (Tribeca Centerpiece 2016.) The award-winning writer is a Canadian-born, Los Angeles-based comedian, artist and activist. Hanala produced Cable TV's "Shape Up L.A!" as Suzan Stadner (1983-2000.)
A 2012 Finalist in the PAGE Screenwriting Awards, 2017 Nominee for the Hedy Lamarr Award for Innovation in Etertainment Technology, Hanala created the Vlog in 1983.
Her best-selling memoir, "My Parents Went Through the Holocaust and All I Got Was This Lousy T-Shirt," is studied in schools and is featured in "The Last Laugh" (Tribeca Spotlight Film, 2016.)
Hanala wrote "The Lost Cell Phone Blues" and sings with the Traumedy Central Band. On YouTube since 2007, Hanala's "Comedy Wellness" channel has 500M viewers and creator access to YouTube Space LA.
