Fili Filizzola

Fili (pronounced Philly), is an Italian-Brazilian guitarist, composer, producer and mastering engineer. Despite having grown up in Denver, CO, Fili spent most of his life in Brazil where he got a Bachelor’s Degree in Guitar Performance at the University of Minas Gerais (UFMG). During his time at UFMG, Fili received a full scholarship to study for a semester at the renowned “The New School for Jazz and Contemporary Music” in New York CIty and was awarded a $20,000 scholarship to study at “Berklee College of Music”. In 2013 Fili won the BDMG Young Instrumentalist Award in Belo Horizonte, Brazil.
He runs a YouTube channel with over 7k subscribers where he shares guitar licks and lessons. He has had a decade’s worth of experience performing and recording as a freelance guitar player with numerous bands and singers in various different styles and enjoys sharing his knowledge and skills with "eager to learn" guitar players on YouTube.
Fili moved to L.A. in 2019 and spends his days songwriting, producing and working as a mastering engineer at Becker Mastering, in Pasadena, CA.
