I am a wife, mother (human & fur babies), and an admitted stationery addict. My heart beats in analog! I have been obsessed with planners since first spotting, and longing for, that clear ring planner at Barnes and Noble as a child. Welcome to my little corner of the web!
My obsession with planners started at a pretty young age. I longed to have that clear ring binder planner from Barnes and Noble, but it never happened. I was always a well-organized person, but I really tapped into my planning potential when I bought my first Franklin Covey. I was obsessed with trying to find the best methods for keeping my family organized. While I enjoy and still use digital planning methods, there is nothing better than the feeling of pen on paper!
Raising six children with active schedules and running a full-time photography business was a challenge, to say the least. But having everything written out and stored safely in my planners eased so much of my anxiety!
Writing things down helps me record everything that has my attention, allowing me to have a clearer mind. Writing out my goals, priorities, and intentions has helped me clarify them
and keeps me motivated. Tasks and schedules aren’t the only things I write out. Journaling with pen and paper allows me to slow down and process my emotions, encouraging daily growth in my life.
I will go as far as to say that planning is my passion. I love to share what has worked for me and what hasn’t with anyone who will listen! I have even rubbed off on my very unorganized husband. He works daily to figure what works best for him, and I love sharing that journey together. I want to share it with you too!
Side note: My planning methods are forever evolving and changing. Every season of my life brings the need for different levels of planning, but that’s the best part. It’s ok if something has been working for you for years but is no longer serving you as well. Change is good, and figuring out what does work is the fun part!
