David Robinson

PRITTI SHU
Born David J. Robinson on March 3, 1983 from Huntley District, St. Elizabeth and raised alongside seven brothers and sisters by his fervently Christian mother, Pritti Shu’s first exposure to music, like so many other talented Jamaican youth, was influenced by his brother Culture and his friend “baby King” he would attend stage shows held across districts in the rural communities of St. Elizabeth, Jamaica. Whilst attending these events he realized he was infatuated with music and acting. He possessed melodious vocal talent and earned his first musical performance at a tender age of (11) Eleven.
In his early teens Pritti Shu relocated with his father to Kingston, Jamaica moving between the garrison communities of Bay Farm Villa and Mona Commons, Papine volatile environments that continue to inspire his music and acting career. Doing odd jobs in the transport sector, he became invloved with techniques for villainous car pimping which he realized he still haven’t fulfill his musical and acting career. Pritti Shu destined for a musical career recorded his first Single in 2012 call “High Roller”, whilst still focusing on how he can get his acting career on board. He did background acts in several music videos and main acted his own videos when the opportunity came. David later realise his deep love for acting and got registered at the Prestigious Barbizon School for Modelling and acting, located in Manhattan, New York.
He is not yet a household name and is fully aware that he has a lot of work to do in order to achieve such a lofty goal. However, he is very happy with what he has accomplished so far. He has performed on a lot of events such as the major yearly show STING. Right now he is in his early stages of his career.
Pritti Shu gained a modicum of studio, commercial and runway experience and is still learning the craft, he is still learning the right context, melody, the verses, trying to know what is a hook, the importance of stage presence, breath control, metaphor and word play as he stride to attain his acting and musical goal.
