He graduated from Brigham Young University (BYU) with a Bachelor of Arts, emphasizing in design for theater and film. After graduation, he enjoyed his 15 minutes of fame as Art Director for the cult classic Napoleon Dynamite. His handiwork can been seen on posters and locker signs throughout the film, and he can say with great pride that he was the man behind-the-caboodle-case tying Deb’s infamous boondoggle.
Channeling his inner Deb, Curt has made a living for his family with his handicraft skills. He has developed new products and collections for Cricut, American Crafts, Heidi Swapp, Project Life, We R Memory Keepers, Pebbles Inc., Sweet Sugarbelle, DCWV, Michaels, Target, and HSN. He is currently an illustrator and product designer for Doodlebug Design.
