That's some serious marketing potential!
I was brought up in rural Canada where homespun was a way of life. I became a primary school teacher before moving to the UK to join my husband. I was brought up to recycle long before it was required and plastic was almost a bad word in my mind from a very young age. I have always made things as presents for friends and family and after hosting charity Christmas fairs in my home for many years, I was approached by many asking how I made the items they saw in my home. I realised then that there was an opportunity to combine doing what I love from my home and The Cozy Club was born. Along with creating decorative items, I enjoy cooking and baking. At my clubs I always serve a homemade lunch and each time the ladies beg me for my recipes. I love to set the scene with my table decorations as well. My clubs are constantly referred to as ‘the best therapy’ and a day creating with kindred spirits is very special to say the least. My crafting extends in all directions from embroidery to woodwork and everything in between and my projects are as original as can be. I also open The General Store at each Cozy Club and there I sell antique things as well as homespun decorative items. After I close my front door as the last Cozy Clubber leaves, I always have a wonderful sense of achievement: new friends have been made, new skills have been taught and fresh recipes have been [link-omitted] mission statement is ‘The Cozy [link-omitted]e you are a stranger only once’. Two years ago I was approached to write a book on Christmas crafting. It proved successful so my publishers asked for another encompassing all seasons. This was a dream come true for me. I continue to host my clubs and am now in my 12th [link-omitted] workshop sells out within minutes of posting and each club is a complete joy to me.
