Graduated WVU in 1992 with a BS in marketing. He enjoys flying and is a Commercial multi engine pilot with instrument instructor rating. He currently owns and operates multiple businesses including 5 car dealerships, a metal roofing manufacturing plant with 2 locations, multiple real estate investments both commercial and residential. He is part of the executive management team which owns and operates several hotel properties and a power shopping center. He is involved with a private equity ownership group that owns and operates multiple hotels in markets including Memphis, Milwaukee, Syracuse, Detroit, and other private equity ventures. He is invests in early stage products and companies, apps and sits on the board of some of those companies. Aside for being involved with the real estate and hotel investments he spend most of his time in the car dealerships which include Charleston Mitsubishi, Clarksburg Mitsubishi, JD Byrider Lexington, KY and Beckley, WV, and WV used car credit. Charles currently serve as Vice Chair of the WV Auto Dealers Association, and serves on the committee for the WV international auto show. Charles a member of the National Auto Dealers Assn, the National Association of Buy Here Pay Here Dealers, the National Independent Auto Dealers Association. Charles has also served on the dealer advisory board for JD Byrider. Charles is a former advisory board member for MVB bank. Charles has worked in most positions in his dealerships and also in hotels. He attends multiple seminars and trade shows annually. In the past he has owned a Chevrolet, Chrysler, Jeep, Dodge, Suzuki, Vespa, Aprilia, Piaggio, & club car dealerships, He has owned and operated a pawn broker business for 6 years, owned and operated with his wife Stacy a gourmet coffee house for 6 years, worked in a large Ophthalmologist office marketing department for 5 doctors, including producing a 30 minute educational tv program and a 30 minute educational radio program. He has been a guest speaker on a panel about technology in the auto business, He has spoken on a real estate podcast and has authored books. He has been married to Stacy for 20 years and has two beautiful daughters, Sofia and Charlie who both are very accomplished Equestrian riders. They are also in the saddle bread horse business, Training, Showing, Breading, Buying and Selling. In 2018 Charles formalized his giving by forming The American Dream Recovery Foundation Corporation. A public 501 (c) (3) charity. He is the author of a best selling book “If winning were easy, Losers would do it” He enjoys public speaking and teaching about real estate investing and specifically about short term rentals on Airbnb and VRBO. I also enjoy speaking about motivation and teaching others about the automobile business.
