CAROLENA is a singer, songwriter, musician, producer, performer, and actress from Miami, FL. She has an authentic, soulful sound as she delivers a fusion of Alternative-Pop music with an R&B/ Reggae influence. She has established her craft from the ground up through experimental creativity and graduated with a music scholarship from Loyola University New Orleans with a Bachelor of Science in Popular & Commercial Music while interning with The Recording Academy’s “Grammy U” program. Alongside playing with a band, she accompanies herself playing the piano, guitar, drums, and ukulele. Her acoustic, stripped down writing brings out a more vulnerable and relatable essence that allows the audience to see beyond her edgy and sultry image. She has played at venues such as House of Blues, SoFar Sounds, Art Basel Miami, and The Seminole Hard Rock, to name a few. Her most recent accomplishments are having received two Sync Placements for TV/Film through BMG as well as being featured on NPR’s “All Songs Considered” for her Tiny Desk Contest submission.
