Our journey began in 2019 when Alec sent Brian a direct message on Instagram complementing him on something he was wearing. Brian responded with a simple double tap, absolutely crushing Alec’s pride! One year later Brian would finally respond with a comment under one of Alec’s post. The comment went unanswered for a few days. However, determined to get Alec’s attention, Brian would send him a Direct Message to which Alec responded with a simple “Hey Mr. double tap!”. They both laughed and have been inseparable since!
Fast forward to today, they are now a married same-sex couple currently navigating a cross-cultural relationship. We are all about normalizing LGBTQ+ Parenting and redefining what marriage and family looks like. We know how important representation and visibility is, especially for the younger generation, so this is us playing our part.
