Boris Charles Huguenel Born in 1968,in Strasbourg (France) I have been painting in oil for 35 years. I mainly paint seascapes landscapes, and still life. I am a bit different to most of the artist in the sense that I am not sticking to one style. As a self-educated painter I learned to perfect my art by studying impressionistic masters like Jean-Baptist-Camille Corot,Claude Monet and Edward Seago Pivotal figures in Landscape painting and plain air innovators of impressionism. therefore when I paint landscapes I think of myself of a modern but classical impressionist. when I paint still life's it is in a more traditional way still in oils, seeking for a sense of order, harmony and storytelling following the Dutch masters. I am having a painters retreat in the Dordogne in France where I teach art especially outdoor painting it gives them confidence and prepares them to take on bigger project in future art I’m having a Youtube chanel in French and received an award for it ! I’m mostly teaching but have a little collection of paintings that I paint for my tutorials and I would love to sell them.
