Mama to the 9 most amazing children in the universe. (5 girls; 4 boys). I also hold the title of “Memaw” to the 9 most amazing grandchildren in the universe. (Soon to be 10!). I started this journey by accident actually. When the pandemic hit, I seen a need in our community, so I stepped up to the plate. I can’t tell you how many tears I cried because I truly had no clue what I was doing, but I just knew I needed to figure it out so that I could help others. Little did I know that my desire to help others would catapult my YouTube and Etsy store into what it is today. Even a year ago, I would not have dreamed of being where I’m at right now. I started digital design simply by accident. When I started designing, I couldn’t find anything that would give me good instructions on what I needed/wanted to know. The technical terms didn’t mean anything at all to me; I just needed to know how to make envelopes and tags. Once I started figuring digital design out, my desire to help others kicked in once again. Now, I regularly do “Design with Me” tutorials to show others how to do digital design. Some have asked why I so freely share a knowledge that is truly learned. My response will always be the same: “In my teaching others, I find that I am the one that is being taught the most.”
