Hello! My name is Betty and I am a Hong-Kong born, GTA based Canadian Social Media Coordinator (luxury award winning boutique hotel) and lifestyle, fashion, beauty, travel, and occasional wedding content creator.
Since 2018, I've had the privilege of collaborating with brands across more than 15 diverse industries on social media campaigns and partnerships. These industries include travel, beauty clinics and med spas, luxury appliances, home decor, technology, restaurants, alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, cosmetics, skincare, TV networks, photo studios, event venues, fashion, weddings, nightlife, and more.
Supporting local and women-owned businesses is something I'm particularly passionate about. Working as a Social Media Coordinator in the hotel industry is an exhilarating journey, where I have the opportunity to manage our hotel's vibrant social media channels. My role involves sourcing user-generated content (UGC) to create authentic and engaging narratives, curating captivating content, and collaborating with influencers and media guests for hosted stays. These partnerships not only enhance our hotel's visibility but also allow us to connect with diverse audiences.

Part of my responsibilities includes partnering with media accounts for exciting giveaways, a strategy that has proven effective in expanding our reach and engagement. I am proud to say that between September 2023 and December 2024, our Instagram following has grown by over 6,000 net followers, a testament to our successful strategies and consistent efforts.

Beyond engagement, I focus on converting online interactions into tangible results by selling hotel rooms to VIP guests through strategic social media campaigns. Utilizing influencer marketing tools, I conduct competitor analysis, assess profile performance, and perform in-depth analysis of influencer audiences. These insights ensure that our social media presence remains competitive within the bustling downtown Toronto market.
