Hello! I'm a model from small town Saskatchewan trying to make big changes in the fashion industry! I started modelling when I was 16, but began activism in the industry when I was 18 after seeing my friends, as well as myself, get mistreated by those who held more power in it than us at the time as teenage girls or young women, primarily. It began when I started a Facebook group for the local industry in my home province where people could warn each other about potential predators who were working. It only escalated when I moved to Vancouver and also worked there as a model for the 1.5 years I was living there. Since then I've helped to pass a bill in my home province of Saskatchewan protecting independent contractors (and others) against all the original OH&S laws, but also sexual abuse and harassment, since that was never in the Employment Act prior to my petitioning with the opposition. As I get older, I find I'm growing more towards the world of film and acting, so that's really where I plan to head next with all of this, but I don't see the point of boxing myself in and so I do lots of things: modelling, guitar, piano, singing, acting, and hopefully soon, screenwriting and directing.
