My name is Anwar Davids, graphic designer by day and Illustrator by night. As a child I was always "drawn" to anything creative and different. I grew up on the Cape Flats (A South African Ghetto) where ambition and role models are words that held no real meaning to me.
All that changed when I saw the neighbourhood's graffiti artists expressing themselves on walls using a spray can. This led me to the corridors of Cape College where I found my love for graphic design and art.
I am very proactive. You will find me doodling in my sketchbook planning my next design, illustration or wall mural. I am always keeping myself up to date with the latest design trends via social media.
I have been a work horse since the age of 12. This has built my character and given me confidence to make the best out of any situation. I have lots of respect for my peers and when knowledge is given I will share it.
When I am not working I spend time with my wife and our four cats as well as the forty feral cats that we feed. If I am not being a husband and animal lover you can find me in my little art studio being creative.
I am always looking for the next best creative outlet where I can improve and better my skills and using different tools to accomplish this is vital.
Every day I am inspired to create artworks that express my passion.
