In 2012, when Mischiff was 15 years old he began his music career. He was inspired to become a DJ after finding the works of the late DJ AM. After countless months he was ready to showcase his talent and emerged as ‘DJ Mischiff’. The name was inspired by the nickname “Malito” which in Spanish meant mischievous child. His first opportunity to DJ was at a school dance for his middle school in Freeport, New York. After that first event his musical career began to flourish. He began to get into music production, a skillset that would become helpful later down the line. Over the course of the next couple years he would go on to DJ at several clubs, and events while also pursuing a career as a Public Affairs specialist for the New York Army National Guard. While serving, his creative mind took control after learning photography, videography and even journalism. The Army taught Mischiff time management, a skill needed when masterminding your own musical career. With an arsenal of tools and experience Mischiff brings us a debut of original music. He has full creative control of his image and music to bring an authenticity to his work like no other. So, when you hear and see Mischiff, you see him not the work of a record label. His only mission being to deliver the best quality music to his listeners with vibes that everyone can relate to.
