I am a counselor. I feel strongly about self-care and healthy coping strategies to get through life. I've always said if I could guarantee I'd never be a "starving artist", I would do full-time photography and be an artist in multiple medias. I am a Mommy, I have a baby girl. I have been natural since 2012 and have shaved my head twice since then, the last time in 2016. I enjoy doing my natural hair and also wearing wigs/weaves as a protective style. I'm a fat kid at heart and love baking. I've recently lost a parent, so that's been an adjustment but I look forward to what God has in store for me next. My parent loved to travel and collected magnets/shot glasses, so I intend on revisiting all those places with my daughter. I am a Christian. I believe in God and nothing/no one will ever sway me otherwise. I love to laugh. I hate to cry, but know it's necessary at times. I'm grateful for my life and my family and those I hold close to my heart. I am a Midwest native, originally from Kansas City, MO but now living in Chicago, IL.
