✨About me

So many of you have been with me since my earliest student midwife years. But who am I now? 

I’m a semi-crunchy lady, with a love for art, writing, cooking, and outdoor adventures. I got to go skiing a few days ago, and it was amazing! It was only my second time, so I fell a lot, got the shakes when I saw the steep slopes, and my legs were on fire after the 2nd run. But it was so good to be in the quiet, snowy outdoors. 

I’ve been married to my guy for almost 3 years. Gideon’s been the biggest support of my crazy midwifery endeavours, and he’s always excited when I come home after a healthy birth. I am pretty sure there will be a day when he’s more involved than he wants to be, and comes with me to a birth. That would be amazing. 

I love hosting at my house with good food, going out for coffee, and taking walks with friends. If you’re a fake person, I probably won’t like you. I like real talks, and nitty-gritty conversations. It’s something about my DNA. I don’t mind confronting uncomfortable topics. My real friends have upheld me while I go through miscarriage after miscarriage, and the toughness of midwifery school and starting up a new business. So, thank you, real friends.
