As a studio technical operator at Switch Tv I was tasked with ensuring that the Television station run 24 hours with high quality broadcast signals. I provide technical support in programs and recordings and ensuring both audio and video are of standard. It is also my responsibility to provide workarounds in cases of emergencies, support content, production by providing quick technical solutions. I also ensure there was proper camera blocking, all live shows get air in good time and all pre-checks including sound checks and sets are in place in accordance to show at hand. I also got the chance to direct Television shows both entertainment shows and news bulletins and products. This made me explore my creative side even more and be on my toes to ensure everything goes to plan and whatever we record evokes emotions and retains our target audience the youths
