Born in Texas, singer-songwriter Kelsie Watts grew up singing in the church with her musically talented parents. It was her parents, who after hearing her sing at the young age of two, encouraged her to continue mastering her craft. Kelsie developed her powerhouse vocals not only in church choir but by getting cast in leads roles in her school plays along with being in All State Choir while growing up in Lubbock. She then went on to study opera, vocal performance and commercial music at Belmont University in Nashville, TN. Kelsie is trained to sing everything from Opera to Musical Theater, but you will always find her working on her craft; writing and creating her first love, Pop Music. In 2020 the emerging artist, received her first big break when asked to be the featured vocalist on Backstreet Boys AJ McLean’s single “Hurts To Love You” released under McLean's ATCK venture. After the release of “Hurts To Love You”, Kelsie auditioned for Season 19 of NBC’s Hit Show The Voice. Her blind audition immediately went viral when she shocked the judges with her version of Kelly Clarkson’s “I Dare You” Kelsie’s blind audition secured her a spot on Team Kelly and has gained well over 4million views on you tube. Following her run as a member of Team Kelly under the guidance of Kelly Clarkson, Kelsie is now focused on her career as an independent pop/rock artist. She has recorded with Her debut single “Live Out Loud” was recorded with Multi-Platinum and Grammy Nominated Producer NicoTheOwl. “Live Out Loud” is the anthem for the Tokyo SkyTree Global Campaign Tree of Hope W1sh Ribbon Project. Legendary photographer and director, Leslie Kee, shot the official video honoring one of the biggest Japanese fashion designers, Kansai Yamamoto. “Live Out Loud” is currently streaming 24/7 from the Tokyo SkyTree in Tokyo, Japan, and will be featured during the Tokyo 2021 Olympics. Kelsie also recorded the vocals for Eko Zu on Starstruck which had additional success when Pink Panda did a remix version. “Look What You Missed” is the latest release from Kelsie. A song she co-wrote and produced which allows her to step into a new lane all her own, combining pop and electro for an undeniable anthem for loving yourself and representing strong women everywhere. Kelsie resides in Nashville, TN and is currently in the studio writing and recording.
