KidsTalk Foundation KidsTalk Foundation was founded in 1997, focused on helping youth all over the world. Today’s youth are not heard, and the end resort grows into negative acts. Plagued by outside influences such as broken homes, obesity, gangs, and peer pressure, youth need a positive atmosphere to express their true feelings and realize that they are not alone. The younger generation do not have the ability or opportunity to learn about communication through public school programs, this was taken out of the system. These studies are essential to providing the youth of our community with an opportunity to express themselves in a non-threatening manner. KidsTalk Youth Training Program KidsTalk Youth Training Program (YTP) is a program introduced to give youth the opportunity in the field of media, communications, and journalism. This program allows children and teens to obtain exposure to media communications through hands-on training to enhance their understanding and knowledge of production techniques, in front of the camera and behind the camera in the world of media and entertainment business. This program was introduced at Beverly Hills High School for over five years and on location throughout Los Angeles and worldwide locations. KidsTalk Future Leaders Program The Future Leaders Program was established in 2005, starting with 650 orphans at three camps, Nambale, Bunyore & Kakamega, Kenya, East Africa, it is now over 1,000. The student population consists of orphaned or extremely destitute children who would otherwise be unable to receive an education or medication, as in Africa the children must pay to go to high school; KidsTalk sponsored 12 students to attend high school. KidsTalk Foundation was officially certified as an NGO in Kenya. KidsTalk In Africa Donations. Purchased a school bus to take the medical team from the Kakamega clinic to the two schools. Books for every classroom, the teacher’s guide books, school supplies. Desks for all students and a desk for the school superintendent, & bulletin board. Concrete floors in all classrooms (two of the schools had only mud floors) Purchase medicine to treat children for worms and skin rashes. We established a medical clinic at Kakamega campus, vaccinated the children against typhoid. Not one child has died of a treatable disease, because of the medical clinic and vaccination program. We purchased a 5-acre piece of property that is being developed as a farm. Purchased a house that serves as a Nursery, also serves as a dormitory for 32 students. We built the 5th grade classroom at the Nambale school and built the 7th grade classroom at the Bunyore school.
