Recording artist Codie West was born and raised in London, United Kingdom. At the tender age of 5, he made his professional debut by modeling for The Early Learning Center in Bentals, Kingston. At the ripe age of 17, he had his very first appearance on a six-episode television show alongside Jamie Oliver, a well-known celebrity chef. Jazzie B (Soul 2 Soul) a music guru, was introduced to Codie during the show. Jazzie's involvement in Codie was a major factor in Codie's decision to want to pursue music full-time. Since this experience, Codie has appeared on multiple television shows and performed at numerous locations both local and international, some of which have had long-term contracts. Codie has also visited the house of commons for an education committee which aired on BBC Parliament. He has recently concluded his contract to participate in production shows throughout Europe, and he is now recording his debut album.
