Blake LeVine is a startup founder, intuitive life coach and author dedicated to helping improve the mental health of those he works with. Blake is a survivor of bipolar disorder and has been healthy for over 20 years. He knows personally how important it is to manage the illness. Blake’s fascinating life story begins as a young man in New York. With determination and persistence he personally met nearly every notable person. By age 24, he had met in person Gloria Estefan, Ricky Martin, Penelope Cruz, Dr. Dre, The Notorious BIG, Michael Jackson, Princess Diana, Mother Teresa, Audrey Hepburn, Paul McCartney, Steven Spielberg, The Rolling Stones, Margaret Thatcher, Mikhail Gorbachev, 7 United States Presidents, The Dalai Lama, Patrick Swayze, Michael Landon, Tom Hanks, Brad Pitt and over 5,000 notable people. He wrote his first book at age 15 titled Okay Dad You Can Take The Picture: A Young Man's Quest For Autographs Of The Famous. Blake LeVine has always been fascinated learning about how the mind works and the way to accomplish goals. He has a Masters Degree in Social Work from Adelphi University and through that program learned many psychological lessons. Blake has also worked with the homeless in New York, foster care children, in a rehab clinic, hospitals, and in private practice. For several years, Blake helped individuals, families and children at his practice in Melville, New York. He helped clients to deal with depression, addictions, anxiety, post traumatic stress disorder, grief, career problems, and family issues. He has also appeared on CNN, Fox, ABC, The Los Angeles Times, NY Post, NY Newsday, Philadelphia Enquirer, The Oprah Winfrey Website, and over 500 radio programs. His life lessons are valuable and often quoted in the media. His book Beating Bipolar was released by Hay House. It sold well, in the UK edition and is available in a US one as well. He’s done speaking for organizations including Depression And Bipolar Support Alliance, The International Bipolar Foundation, several local chapters of The National Alliance on Mental Illness, The JCC chapter in South Florida, a luncheon for Hadassah, Carnival Cruise Lines, The Equal Opportunity Employment Commission, The Who Is Jay Fund (In Honor Of The Founder's Son Who Died From Schizophrenia), The Salvation Army, Eli Lilly, conferences, and schools. He is credited as the inventor of the tool Rap Therapy. Blake's book on the subject was passed on by major publishers. They would later, publish Don Elligan's book on the subject with the same title Blake's agent submitted. Blake did not care, and kept spreading this technique. Within 8 years, Blake talked to hip hop's legends and top stars about this subject. The names include Kim Porter, Diddy, DMX, Chuck D, Lil Kim, Madonna, Brad Pitt, Ridley and Tony Scott, Reverend Run, The Black Eyed Peas, Jim Jones, Calvin Klein, Ja Rule, Fat Joe, Tom Cruise, Will Smith, JoJo, MC Jin, Cassidy, Faith Evans, Missy Elliott, and many more. Blake was in the media for challenging Eminem and Kid Rock to battle him live on television. The goal was the event would make $2,000,000 for Eminem and Kid Rock's favorite Detroit Charity. They both failed to agree to this. There was a rumor Blake had a 10 perfect chance of winning which would have shocked hip hop fans. Blake is a rare man who can freestyle rap since the age of 10. He used to do so in school, while the kids would sometimes laugh. The Salvation Army agreed to let Blake do a documentary with their foster care children. They were the largest group overseeing foster care kids in New York. The film, showed an innovative 6 week program to change lives for the better using song, dance, poetry, music and rap. Within a few years of the film being completed, Blake brought it to Hollywood. He met with the heads of several entertainment conglomerates. They include Sony, Fox, MTV, A&E, Noggin, The N, BET, CBS and many more. They didn't agree at the time to air a show of DMX and Blake helping children. They next, passed on Chuck D and Blake helping kids in a show called Shrink Rap based on Rap Therapy. Chuck D and Blake both graduated from Adelphi University in Long Island. They may be the two most famous hip hop connected names to ever attend that school. Blake quietly created a free version of the film to be shown worldwide at schools, organizations and events. He also privately does screenings that pay him to show it to their audiences. The project may one day be revived by the companies that passed on it. The final project is a massive financial success. The film Rap Therapy can be seen at: [link-omitted] Blake has been married for many years and has two beautiful children. His daughter, Tyler LeVine is a famous YouTube performer. Blake's wife Jennifer is a noted healthcare worker and startup founder. She runs several initiatives including [link-omitted]. His books are read worldwide as he is one of the most prolific authors openly living with a mental illness. His book Depression, Bipolar and Heroin was recently released in 2018 in Spanish. It is called Depresion, Bipolar Y Heroina. It is a new kind of publishing, that changes how formatting is done. It is in honor, of those we have lost to mental illness and addiction.
