Lio Beardsley is an Hong Kong artist and designer.

Beardsley studied in the USA  Modesto and Mountain View in college, graduated in Hong Kong Polytechnic University with BA Honour in design and photography.

After graduated from University, I worked for a few companies as full time graphic designer n toy packaging graphic designer.

Shortly afterwards, I started as an full time illustrator, and luckily entered in an Anna Sui Dolly head contest and won grand prize, I had a chance to meet Anna herself in New York and began to work with her ever since. 

I have been collaborating with different brands and companies with my illustration work on their fashion items, beauty products, premium gift items, and advertisements etc, clients included Anna Sui, Fendi, Cartier, Gucci, Chanel, Armani, D&G, Isaten New York, Maybelline, Bioderma, Vidal Sassoon, IT,  Adidas, Samsung, Sony …

Magazine illustrations for Vogue, Elle, Cosmopolitan, Reader Digest, Little Thing magazine, Sisters, This is Real …

And have been working with several 4A agencies for advertising commercial illustrations.

I have also been hired as chief designer in many large scale 3D installations projects for Xmas decoration, Easter holiday, Summer holiday event with my designer characters and sets, since clients and audiences love my cute and delightful art style.

Other than commissioned jobs, I have hold a few solo art exhibition with my drawings in France, China and Hong Kong.

Lately I’m working on a deluxe deck set of my first oracle deck Rococo Princess, I have dealt with all 42 card illustrations and packaging design work, which will debut in summer time. There are a few accessories products I created using my own illustrations such as earrings scarfs. And an illustration book “Into the Magical World of Delite” with my line art drawing, inspiration for many creative people and children.

I can handle projects from initial stage to creative stage and following up production. I mainly use Photoshop, Illustrator, Painter and sometimes Canva, with elementary level of After Effect. I created my art painting by hand, but usually deal with commercial projects with computer applications.

My work has interviewed by innumerable publications such as UK Elle Decoration, Japan +81, So-En, Korea Ceci, Korea Elle, Mini International, Milk, Cosmo, Jessica, Sing Tao Daily and Sun Daily etc.
