Rick Eberle
Magnetic Vine offers record label/ film studio marketing services, publicity, social media, and talent management and booking duties for venues, festivals, conventions, TV/radio stations, bands, artists, actors, authors, chefs, sports figures and companies of all kinds. The company has successfully produced and promoted events with the Heavy Metal Hall of Fame, Jeffrey Gaines, Alessi Brothers, Zak Starkey, Trey Songz, Peter Tosh Estate, John Coltrane Home, Sky Katz, Forever in Your Mind, Fun Lovin Criminals, Eddie Money, Ryan Leslie, Ninedays, Push Play and others and festivals that have included appearances by Ed Burns, Hugh Grant, Daniel Baldwin, Brian Dennehy, Paul Sorvino, Susie Essman, Phylicia Rashad, Baz Luhrmann and so many more. As a record executive, Rick spent time working on online initiatives for Pink, Usher, Outkast, Dido and others at Arista Records in NYC. He then left Manhattan to work in venue management, booking and promotions for The Downtown Concert Venue, presenting artists like Jewel, Fall Out Boy and Maroon 5. Rick has also had a long career in radio, including time at 92.7 WLIR FM and several iterations of 94.3 FM, including 94.3 The Shark where he was instrumental in the initial branding and launch of the station as promotion director. Currently, Rick hosts Rising Stars Radio Monday nights at 9pm EST on 90.3 WHPC FM.
Additionally, with an alt rock flavor that fans of Third Eye Blind or Foo Fighters would dig on one track, to a sugary pop-rock sensibility in the vein of Fountains of Wayne or Barenaked Ladies on another, Rick Eberle has proven himself to be a unique and versatile singer, songwriter and guitarist on both ends of the musical spectrum. As a BMI affiliated artist, several of Rick's tunes co written with the band Iridesense have been used by Nickelodeon in the past on their shows "Drake & Josh" and "Zoey 101" and were licensed to "iCarly" as well. Influenced by a wide variety of musicians from The Beatles and Elvis Costello, to Gavin DeGraw and Hozier, Eberle consistently delivers hard hitting, powerful riffs interwoven with melodic vocals and insightful, introspective lyrics. Whether in the bands Iridesense or Big Rick Energy, or as a striking soloist - each listen is an aural adventure.
