Samil is a hip hop/electronic producer and member of the Almighty Foot Clan rap collective. Born in Paterson, NJ and raised in Cleveland, OH, Samil moved to Grand Rapids, MI in 2005 where he graduated from Kendall College of Art & Design with a degree in Art History. His love of music led him to change career course and pursue his passion making music full time. His production leans heavily on raw, lofi melodic loops sometimes over sparse drums. Deeply influenced by legendary musicians Madlib, Flying Lotus, DJ Shadow, The Alchemist, Samil has been diligently working behind the scenes to providing the industry with something unique .
