Mercy Thokozane Minah is a gender-expansive multidisciplinary artist who lives and works in South Africa. Their work exists in visual, literary and theatrical mediums. Mercy creates work that centers the intimacies of fat, Black gender-expansive people. They are enthusiastic about art, music, literature, entertainment, fashion and beauty. They also enjoy being experimental with their personal style and finding elegant ways to accessorize dope clothing. Born and raised in Johannesburg, Mercy considers themselves a person who is moved by and appreciates culture as it is established and pushed forward by Black working class people.
