Intellifluence Community Standards
Intellifluence enables Brands and Influencers to collaborate to reach their influencer marketing goals. As a member of the Intellifluence community, we expect you to follow this approach in all of your transactions:
1. Be respectful
2. Communicate effectively
3. Adhere to the rules
1. Be Respectful
Sometimes conflict is unavoidable, but in the vast majority of cases, it can be minimized or avoided when both parties are respectful. In the end, we are all here for the same reason: to achieve our goals using influencer marketing. Be friendly and courteous. Avoid name-calling, offensive language and slurs.
Per our Terms of Service: all users are expected to act in a civil manner and refrain from abusive or threatening behavior. Intellifluence restricts the display of nudity or graphic sexual activity as some in our community may be sensitive to this type of content. We also restrict hate speech (which we specifically define as an attack on people based on race, ethnicity, national origin, religious affiliation, sexual orientation, sex, gender, gender identity, and serious disability or disease) and threats of violence or harm.
In short, respect yourself and respect others.
2. Communicate effectively
Similarly, communicate effectively. What does this mean? Make sure you reply to messages from the other party in a timely manner.
If you are an influencer, make sure to complete all work by the due date and be responsive if the brand has questions or comments.
If you are a brand, make sure to provide the influencer with everything required to adhere to your pitch and complete work by the due date. If there is an inventory shortage or delay on product, let the influencer know as soon as possible and extend the due date accordingly!
Sure, sometimes things go wrong that are outside of our control (packages get delayed or lost in the mail, etc). That said, there is no excuse for poor communication! Pro tip: make sure your notifications preferences are set up properly and you are receiving e-mail and/or push notifications from Intellifluence.
Per our Terms of Service: all users are expected to provide clear, concise communication in a timely manner to ensure both parties understand the progress of each transaction, up until the completion of the transaction.
3. Adhere to the rules
We get it, influencer marketing transactions can sometimes have a lot of moving parts. If you have any questions about a transaction (or our Terms of Service), please contact support! We are here for you. While this is not exhaustive (again, that’s what our Terms of Service is for), here are some of the main rules to follow:
- All communication must take place in the transaction message thread (we are unable to help if communication occurs off-platform)
- All transactions must be completed in a timely manner, based on the required work and due date
- Compensation must be fair and reasonable (no commission-only offers/pitches, for example!)
- You must also adhere to the laws in your jurisdiction (as well as jurisdiction of Intellifluence)
- All work completed must be original (no plagiarism, etc)
- Once work is approved, it must not be modified or removed unless there is a mutual agreement between brand and influencer
