The first makeup item I remember playing around with was a Marks & Spencer eyeshadow palette which was a hand-me-down from my older sister. I'm sure it was mainly shades of blue, so needless to say I was rocking a classic 80s eye look most days. Ever since then I've been obsessed with makeup and beauty products. I've become a collector of makeup, more than just a consumer. If I see something new, I have to buy it. If it's a cult product, I need it. More recently I've found my family, friends and even colleagues asking for advice on products and tips for applying makeup so I thought it'd be fun to set up a blog where I can share these things with a wider crowd. I'm by no means an expert but I do love to talk about these things and get excited by it.
